Our site is deliberately light on tracking. Rather than list every cookie the internet has ever used, here is exactly what runs on nativenationauto.ca.
There is no first-party analytics, no session cookie and no preference cookie on this site. While you have the page open, your browser keeps two things for that visit only: which ad brought you here, and your form answers, so a reload doesn't lose them. Both stay on your device, are wiped when you close the tab, and your answers are wiped as soon as you send the form. If you never interact with the form, we hold nothing about you beyond standard server logs.
| Source | What it sets | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Meta (Facebook) pixel | _fbp and related Meta cookies |
Measures whether our advertising works. Reports that this page was viewed, when the form is started and, if you submit it, that a lead was recorded. With a submission, our server also sends Meta your name, phone number and email address in scrambled (hashed) form so it can match the lead to an ad; nothing else from the form is sent. |
| Google Fonts | No cookies | Delivers the typefaces. It does disclose your IP address to Google in the process. |
| Netlify (our host) | No advertising cookies | Standard access logs for security and reliability. |
| Web3Forms | No cookies | Only involved at the moment you submit the form, to deliver it to our inbox. |
Most browsers let you block or clear cookies in their settings, and many block third-party cookies by default. Meta also offers ad preference and off-Facebook activity controls inside your Facebook or Instagram account. Blocking any of this will not stop our site or the enquiry form from working.
If we add or remove anything that tracks you, we will update this page and the date at the top.
